WONDERFUL ALL PURPOSE POTENTIAL

I raised TULIP from birth as the choice pup out of the repeat breeding of "Pearl to Phoenix". The first litter was so successful that we wanted to add these qualities to our breeding program.

The TULIP & COPPER pups should be all round goldens. They should be livable house pets and hunters, yet have the ingredients to be competitive in Obedience Trials, Hunt Tests, Search & Rescue, and Agility. They will also have the classic good looks of the golden breed.

Tulip lives with her family in a Western suburb of Chicago She is a pleasant housedog, an excellent hunter, and has an intense desire to please. As with all of our dogs, She shows a natural love of retrieving and water. She has a pedigree that is both impressive in its credentials and comforting in its abundance of outgoing, good-natured Goldens.

She is a friendly and willing retriever and gets along well with dogs and pets. She is a medium dark color, has dark eyes, and a friendly, pleasing expression. One look at the pedigree confirms a strong background of intelligent, stylish, talented working retrievers - tracing back through many generations.

These bloodlines have been very successful in all phases of competition. This litter is the culmination of 40 years of breeding quality Goldens that do it all competitively and are still loving pets and companions.

COPPER lives with his owners in Northern Wisconsin. He is a handsome RED boy with lots of go power. He earned his Master Hunter title with ease and was a Finalist is the last 2 Master Nationals. COPPER also has an OFA Excellent hip rating.

Buyers desiring a good looking Golden that comes from a pedigree that has a strong record of producing healthy, structurally sound working dogs, should take a serious look at this litter. In breeding "TULIP" to "COPPER" we expect to fulfill all of these objectives to produce a Golden litter worthy of the Topbrass name. These puppies will be outgoing and talented competitors, companions, and pets.

We expect this breeding to produce exceptional goldens. The pups should be relatively problem free with strong working ability, typical golden personality and non aggressive behavior. This combination can't be beat for a nice all round competitive golden with some working ability. Pups will tend to be reddish in color with flat coats, nice heads with dark eyes and black pigment.

OUR puppies are carefully raised in the home environment and socialized accordingly. They are individually stimulated daily for maximum potential. Due to these procedures, the puppies readily accept new and varied distractions and stimuli in the environment around them. Our puppies enjoy individual "play exercises", and are introduced to retrieving by this method. We encourage the new owners of all our Topbrass puppies to continue "motivational training" through PUPPY CLASSES to ensure an easy transition from our environment to their new homes. Pups brought up in this manner mature into well adjusted adults.

Before leaving Topbrass, our puppies are wormed, have their dew claws removed, are given their first shots, and are examined by our veterinarian for overall health and soundness.

We also MICROCHIP each pup with the AKC recommended TROVAN Chip. Owners are encouraged to individually register their pups in the CAR program (Companion Animal Recovery) with the form we Provide.

We test and evaluate our puppies using procedures outlined by various behavioral psychologists, in addition to individual methods that we have developed over the past 35 years to determine the temperament and potential of each pup.

In addition to the above, we have a Puppy Support Program available to Topbrass Retriever owners.

PRICE & DEPOSIT
The price of the TULIP & COPPER puppies is $1500 with Limited Registration, and $1900 for breeding potential and AKC Full Registration. Limited Registration means that the puppy is registered but no litters produced by that dog are eligible for registration. This AKC procedure helps protect established breeding programs. These dogs can be shown in obedience trials, field trials, hunt tests, and agility. This price reflects the quality of the breeding, the commitment we have to the breed in terms of time and financial investment, our continual updates of health clearances and improvement of our breeding stock, and the caring and concern of our Topbrass network of helpers.
We require a deposit of $200 to reserve puppies in advance of whelping; litters generally sell quickly. We ask that our puppies be registered with the "TOPBRASS PREFIX". Please feel free to call us at (847) 494-4227 or email us at: jackie@topbrass-retrievers.com
