TORCH and BOOMER'S pedigrees goes back to some of the Topbrass original "Field Trial Greats" that have produced outstanding retrievers for four decades. Some of the other great old goldens in this pedigree include FC AFC Windbreakers Mighty Mo - two time national finalist and deceased at almost 15 years of age and PHOENIX - a healthy long lived producer of numerous competition goldens in FIELD & OBEDIENCE. Both TORCH'S and BOOMER'S pedigree also includes our all time great "COTTON". Also, BOOMER'S dam is PEACHES - the all time high point derby bitch. TORCH and BOOMER have been bred in hopes of producing that elusive "Competitive Field Trial Golden". The breeding excels in working ability and should produce talented working retrievers capable of holding up to the pressure of daily training and trialing. Both TORCH and BOOMER also have pleasing temperaments, making them ideal family members as well as capable competitors. TORCH is a fully trained field trial bitch that I ran derbies with. She has a placement and lots of jam's. She also placed 3rd in her 1st Qualifying with a 60 plus dog entry at the GRCA. We anticipate that this litter will carry on many of her positive traits. TORCH has all the usual health clearances required in our Topbrass Breeding Program, and is dark gold in color with a short dense coat. BOOMER is one of only a handfull of FIELD TRIAL TITLED goldens alive today. He was a finalist in the 2003 National Amateur. This is the first golden finalist since AFC Topbrass Ascending Elijah UD finished the 1998 National Amateur. BOOMER is well known for his field prowess and Obedience titles. He always ran full tilt and turned heads wherever he competed. BOOMER is a very attractive, well-bred, structurally sound male. On top of that he produces the type of golden pups that we are after bold, sensible, but crazy to retrieve pups that love to train. This litter will be the perfect combination for intelligent, attractive working retrievers, capable of field trial and hunt test competition as well as being livable family members. In other words, IDEAL RETRIEVERS. |
I will personally raise the
Torch and Boomer pups in our winter home in Madison, Florida. I will be
responsible for marketing and placement of these pups. TORCH is a wonderful
field bred bitch owned by us. She has all of
her health clearances and is an attractive dark flat coated bitch with a
classic golden personality and wonderful training attitude.OUR puppies are carefully raised in the home environment and socialized accordingly. They are individually stimulated daily for maximum potential. Due to these procedures, the puppies readily accept new and varied distractions and stimuli in the environment around them. Our puppies enjoy individual "play exercises", and are introduced to retrieving by this method. We encourage the new owners of all our Topbrass puppies to continue "motivational training" through PUPPY CLASSES to ensure an easy transition from our environment to their new homes. Pups brought up in this manner mature into well adjusted adults. Before leaving Topbrass, our puppies are wormed, have their dew claws removed, are given their first shots, and are examined by our veterinarian for overall health and soundness. We test and evaluate our puppies using procedures outlined by various behavioral psychologists, in addition to individual methods that we have developed over the past 35 years to determine the temperament and potential of each pup. In addition to the above, we have a Puppy Support Program available to Topbrass Retriever owners. |
