She was weaning her last litter at the time by FC AFTCH FTCH Cedarpond Brasdor Skywalker. Unfortunately, we did not notice these tumors during pregnancy or nursing as apparently this form of cancer is curable if caught in the early stages. Anyone with related dogs that is worried about the inheritance factor can request a copy of the pathology report from us. According to the Veterinary Pathologist, it was a malignant fibrous histiocytoma. He felt it was an unusually interesting case. Offspring from her breeding to Zeke are already proving themselves in the field, as are her Wraith's Duncan MH*** offspring. We bred her daughter, Topbrass Ready, Zeke, Find to the BIS Winner: CH Celestial Surius Jake CDX WCX in 97 and to Ritchie Toronto Bust*** in 98. Another daughter Topbrass Nanosecond *** will probably be bred sometime in 1998. Ready's pups by Wraith's Duncan*** include Topbrass Ascending Elijah***, Topbrass Fuzzbuster **, and Topbrass General Sherman **. All these pups were successful in the Derby.
