JESSICA and BOOMER'S pedigrees goes back to some of the Topbrass original "Field Trial Greats" that have produced outstanding retrievers for three decades. Some of the other great old goldens in Jessica's pedigree include FC AFC Windbreakers Mighty Mo - two time national finalist and deceased at almost 15 years of age and AFC Mioak's Rain Check OS FDHF - a healthy long lived producer of many all age goldens. Both JESSICA'S and BOOMER'S pedigree includes our all time great "COTTON". Also, BOOMER'S dam is PEACHES - the all time high point derby bitch. JESSICA and BOOMER have been bred in hopes of producing that elusive "Competitive Field Trial Golden". The breeding excels in working ability and should produce talented working retrievers capable of holding up to the pressure of daily training and trialing. Both JESSICA and BOOMER also have pleasing temperaments, making them ideal family members as well as capable competitors. JESSICA is a fully trained field trial bitch who ran only three Derbies and placed in two of them. We anticipate that this litter will carry on many of her positive traits. JESSICA has all the usual health clearances required in our Topbrass Breeding Program, and is dark gold in color with a short dense coat. She has a classic golden personality and a wonderful working attitude. BOOMER is one of only a handfull of TITLED goldens currently competing in Field Trials. He was a finalist in the 2003 National Amateur in June. This is the first golden finalist since AFC Topbrass Ascending Elijah UD finished the 1998 National Amateur. BOOMER is well known for his field prowess and Obedience titles. He always runs full tilt and turns heads wherever he competes. BOOMER is a very attractive, well-bred, structurally sound male. On top of that he produces the type of golden pups that we are after bold, sensible, but crazy to retrieve pups that love to train. This litter will be the perfect combination for intelligent, attractive working retrievers, capable of field trial and hunt test competition as well as being livable family members. In other words, IDEAL RETRIEVERS. |
I am leasing Jessica for this litter, and I will personally raise the
Jessica and Boomer pups in our winter home in Madison, Florida. I will be
responsible for marketing and placement of pups. JESSICA is a wonderful
field bred bitch owned by Lynne Thomson of Hartsville, SC She has all of
her health clearances and is an attractive dark flat coated bitch with a
super personality and training attitude.OUR puppies are carefully raised in the home environment and socialized accordingly. They are individually stimulated daily for maximum potential. Due to these procedures, the puppies readily accept new and varied distractions and stimuli in the environment around them. Our puppies enjoy individual "play exercises", and are introduced to retrieving by this method. We encourage the new owners of all our Topbrass puppies to continue "motivational training" through PUPPY CLASSES to ensure an easy transition from our environment to their new homes. Pups brought up in this manner mature into well adjusted adults. Before leaving Topbrass, our puppies are wormed, have their dew claws removed, are given their first shots, and are examined by our veterinarian for overall health and soundness. We test and evaluate our puppies using procedures outlined by various behavioral psychologists, in addition to individual methods that we have developed over the past 35 years to determine the temperament and potential of each pup. In addition to the above, we have a Puppy Support Program available to Topbrass Retriever owners. |
