DeeDee was retired and living a life of leisure in the home of Judy Rasmuson and Ron Wallace up until she died on April 28th of1998. She was actually Judy's first competitive field trial dog. It was through much perseverance that Judy was able to title Dee Dee. She was an excellent marker, but often wanted to do things her way or sometimes not at all.
Judy trained her using a variety of methods including the old "tennis shoe" approach of running out into the field to discipline her. We jokingly had a "clock rule" for Judy and Dee Dee, only allowing Judy so much time in which to train each test with Dee Dee.
