Clout started his career at just six months of age by winning Best in Sweepstakes at the Illinois Golden Retriever Club Specialty. Pauline campaigned Clout herself in both Conformation and Obedience. He received his Show Championship in February of 1994 and his OTCH & UDX in November of 1994.

Clout is a multiple High in Trial dog and the second Golden Retriever to become a CH OTCH UDX. He has placed in both the Detroit Windsor Obedience Tournament and the Gaines Regional Classic.

Clout is a wonderful representative of the breed. He is medium in size at 23 1/2 inches at the shoulder and weighs 70 pounds. He is an animated willing obedience dog and a joy to watch. At nine years of age, he is still agile and competitive in the obedience ring. He is also still siring wonderful dual purpose puppies.
