BOOTS and AJ'S pedigrees goes back to some of the Topbrass original "Field Trial Greats" that have produced outstanding retrievers for four decades. Some of the great old goldens in this pedigree include FC AFC Windbreakers Mighty Mo - two time national finalist and deceased at almost 15 years of age and our JERSEY DEVIL - a healthy long lived producer of numerous competition goldens in FIELD & OBEDIENCE. Both BOOT'S and AJ'S pedigree also includes our all time great "COTTON". BOOTS is a fully trained field trial bitch, but she had to have surgery for a Fox Tail and lots of rehabilitation, so she was never campaigned in trials. Instead we placed her with the Langguths, where she is a much loved pet. We anticipate that this litter will carry on many of her positive traits. BOOTS has all the usual health clearances required in our Topbrass Breeding Program, and is dark gold in color with a short dense coat. She has an OFA Excellent Hip rating. AJ has been exclusively trained and campaigned by Sharon Long. He is a sound, good looking golden male with a pleasing head and expression, and excellent conformation. He is a super consistant performer and has qualified for the Master National every year since 2003. he also became Qualified All age by jamming his 1st Amateur Stake. We think the PEACH and AJ litter will be bold, crazy to retrieve pups that love to train.We assume that we will get strong, healthy, competitive pups from the litter. This litter will be the perfect combination for intelligent, attractive working retrievers, capable of field trial and hunt test competition as well as being livable family members. In other words, IDEAL RETRIEVERS. |
Robin and Alan Langguth will whelp and raise these pups in their home in Plano, Illinois. Linda Waco will do the final socialization and evaluation and pups will be picked up in McHenry, IL. BOOTS is a wonderful
field bred bitch owned by us. She has all of
her health clearances and is an attractive dark flat coated bitch with a
classic golden personality and wonderful training attitude.OUR puppies are carefully raised in the home environment and socialized accordingly. They are individually stimulated daily for maximum potential. Due to these procedures, the puppies readily accept new and varied distractions and stimuli in the environment around them. Our puppies enjoy individual "play exercises", and are introduced to retrieving by this method. We encourage the new owners of all our Topbrass puppies to continue "motivational training" through PUPPY CLASSES to ensure an easy transition from our environment to their new homes. Pups brought up in this manner mature into well adjusted adults. Before leaving Topbrass, our puppies are wormed, have their dew claws removed, are given their first shots, and are examined by our veterinarian for overall health and soundness. We test and evaluate our puppies using procedures outlined by various behavioral psychologists, in addition to individual methods that we have developed over the past 35 years to determine the temperament and potential of each pup. In addition to the above, we have a Puppy Support Program available to Topbrass Retriever owners. |
