Ace was the first golden that "Torch" purchased from us. After
watching her during winter training, Torch purchased Ace and left her with
Mike Lardy, who got an Open second in her first Open at 2 1/2 years of age.
Ace and her brother (FC AFC Topbrass Bandit) got a 1st and 2nd in a Qualifying
at 17 months of age while running Derbies.
Unfortunately, while nursing puppies out of our FC AFC
Stony-Brooks Jersey Devil, Ace disappeared out of Torch's backyard and
was never found. The breeding to Jersey Devil produced Tigathoe's
Rusty Rocket***.
AKC insists that Ace is a Field Champion. although, her Open win was at the GRCA specialty. According to our records, she needed an All Breed win. AKC says differently, so take your choice. Who can fight City Hall!!
